Short-Term Training
What if you aren鈥檛 interested in a traditional educational pathway? What if you simply want to learn some skills and get to work? In that case, you should check out our short-term training academies and classes. The Continuing Education Department offers a variety of classes, some that last a few days, some last a few weeks. You can learn to drive a semi, operate a bulldozer, prepare a fabulous meal, or maintain industrial equipment, to name a few of the options.
Apprenticeship
On-the-job training and practical classroom instruction that prepares participants for high-skilled careers with local industry partners.
Work-Based Learning
Opportunities for students to use what they learn in the classroom on the job, and earn academic credit.
Adult High School
There are often many paths to one destination. If life events took you down a path that did not include a high school diploma, we’re here to help. Preparation classes and resources are free, and we have instructors who want to see you succeed. With your diploma in hand, who knows how far you can go!
Dual Enrollment
The Career and College Promise (CCP) program provides opportunities for eligible high school students to take tuition-free, college courses for dual credit (credit for high school and college at the same time). Taking CCP courses accelerates completion of college certificates, diplomas, and associate degrees that provide entry-level job skills and/or lead to college transfer credit.

I feel confident that when I graduate, I鈥檒l be prepared to go to work. The instructors here want you to succeed; they set you up to succeed.
The reason I like working in the HVAC industry is because the job changes every day. I use the same skills and knowledge but every day I am presented with a new problem or job that is completely different than the last one.
This has been one of the best things I have ever done. I interned at KM Pharmacy where I had so much hands-on experience. I took the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board test on April 8 and became a CPHT. My biggest advice is it鈥檚 never too late to change.
Since I walked in the doors of 懂色帝in 2020, in the auto body painting department, this school has done so much for me. I have connected with my teachers and with staff on campus. I have made friends with classmates and other students. 懂色帝feels like family to me.
